Cast Iron Sewing Machine Legs

I love to use these old sewing machine bases to decorate around my yard. Some I put shutters or cast iron tops on and others I just use a simple decorations. The top two are my favorite-Household and New Home -and they're white!

  1. I dearly love these old pieces. I have tables scattered around my home with these sewing machine bases. That last one I have with a wooden top in my living room. You can't have too many sewing machine bases!

  11. We have a couple of those -- attached to an ancient sewing machine my daughter uses as a nightstand.
I love yours in the garden! Fabulous. And "New Home" is still in business, still making sewing machines.

  14. Hi Rebecca,

I totally love these old sewing machine bases. I can remember when Montgomery Ward was still in business and when they finally shut down their catalog division.

Thanks so much for visiting with me for WW! I always love to hear from you.

    Happy Day to you,
    Stephanie ♥

  16. I like old sewing machine bases...yours are really special! I have one that is made into a table and 2 that were given to me by my mother-in-law but they still have the machines attached and look pretty cool that way too.

  17. I was so intrigued by your title, as I have a granddaughter named Ella Mae. She is only two and a half, and a little spitfire of a girl and very adorable. I love all your vintage pieces. These sewing machine legs are pretty cool. I have a sewing machine table in my craft studio and now I think I will paint it white. Thanks for inspiration in visiting your blogs. I will become a follower to both. I am having a little giveaway at my blog for V-Day and my birthday. Please come and get in on the drawing. So glad I found your blogs!
