In the Toilet

Well Girls or Guys out there... I have a question...... I'm needing some advice..... I saw this toilet when I was antiquing last weekend and almost bought it...... I know you think I'm crazy.... but it's an antique with original seat.......
and I know that the inside is disgusting.... but that can be fixed......

it's a special kind of toilet............ have you guessed?.................

do you see it now?................

the pull chain kind...........

I'm wanting to buy one when we re-do our bathroom(which I hope is in this century!). I know I can buy a new one(looked into that) but I've never seen an old one I can buy....... so my question to you plummers out there-can this be upgraded and fixed..... is it worth the $130.... my husband will kill me if I buy it..... but the thought of anything, yes even a toilet, excited me. So what I really need to know-is it possible to make this a working one? Can you tell from the pictures? As your plummer husbands-I need to know!

  1. One of the tennis girls has the newer version of this, at her house. I always love going into that powder room, where it is. Good luck!

  2. REBECCA...THAT IS A QUESTION I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO,
BUT IF I WERE YOU I WOULD COMPARE PRICES OF A NEW ONE, TO THE FIXING THE OLD ONE TO WORK, AND LOOK NEW. GOOD LUCK! RIZZI

  4. Ok, so even if it can't be fixed, if they'd seriously lower the price, it'd be awesome to have..No help I know, but how cool is that thing???

  5. I have no idea about the plumbing part but I would absolutely buy it if you can get it to work. That will be so cool.
