Antique Calling Cards

Here is some of my antique calling card collection. My favorite ones are the ones with the hands! I also love all the flowers~

The one on the right has a little envelope that says forget me not with a little calling card inside!

  4. I love them. It’s funny-I thought calling cards were a newer idea. Evidently not. These are gorgeous.

  5. Why have I never thought of calling cards? I've heard them mentioned in books and dramas, but I've never seen them and never even considered how they looked. Aren't they pretty? And your collection is wonderful. Thank you for opening my eyes to something I really should have realised existed. xx

  7. What a beautiful collection. My grandmother had an album of them and I have no idea what happened to it. Sad, because I would have treasured it.

  9. You have quite an extensive collection of those cards. I have not seen so many and different at one place. Great way to collect. Does not take a lot of room to keep.

  10. How did I miss this wonderful post? I was going back through Rednesdays looking for something and realized I overlooked this! I'm glad I found it - these calling cards are so beeeautiful! I hope you keep these out so you can look at them all the time. My favorite is the one with the red border (of course!).
