Old Gasoline Measuring Stick

I had never seen one of these sticks. Picked it up for only $1.00. Pretty cool!

    My, I have not seen or heard of these in so long. They were used back in my early days. I fact, I had actually forgotten about them.

    I didn't even know they had such things. Was that before there were gages inside that told how close you were to empty?
