Calling Card Stand?

When I first moved into our old 1850's home-I began collecting calling cards. I wanted a special place to put them where they would stand out in our entryway-like in the old days. I had this cherub stand (my entry is filled with antique cherub prints!) and presto-the tray fit right on top!

Vintage Silver Compact

In my hallway is a stand where I have vintage calling cards, a couple of beaded purses, a vintage lipstick, and a silver compact. I put the tray with all these fun goodies on it several years ago when I collected calling cards and just added some bling!

Hair Hat

My husband bought this hair hat last fall and had the most fun with people's expressions!
Here he is without the hat! He sure had a great time with that hat!

Praying Hands Picture

This praying hands print hangs on the wall next to my husband's side of the bed. I have several praying prints in our bedroom. I try to end my day thanking the Lord for all he has given me and for the mercies he gives. As the days pass by so quickly-it's important to remember who's always there -GOD!!!! Vintage Stuffed Rabbit

This time of the year I'm always looking for vintage Easter items(I prefer to decorate only with old things!). Today was a lucky day because I took an extra few minutes to stop in a local antique store and spied this little girl-for only $12.00. She's a fun little one and will look good just sitting on one of our kitchen chairs!

White Rabbit Fur Baby Slippers

My Dear BF Tete gave me these soooooo sweet slippers for Easter(we always exchange early so we can decorate with our goodies!). They are in mint condition and so soft. I've never seen anything like them(wish I love!) and will be so fun to decorate with. I'm looking for that special place(where the dogs won't get them and tear them up) to put them so I can see them everyday and enjoy them! I think they may look good next to some of my other child toys or clothes-it will be fun to figure it out! Thanks Tete for being such an amazing friend and for finding me such wonderful treasures!

Are You Stuck In the Mud?

These pics were also taken when we went to the Amana colonies outside the rocker museum. I thought they were kinda funny! How'd they get that in there?
This was attached to the windmill-made the man look like he was sawing when it was windy!
