Getting Ready for Fall

I spent yesterday putting away white wicker on my porch and bring out the fall rockers. It was kinda sad to see summer go since I feel like I didn't get to enjoy most of it. But it still needed done so I decided with the cooler temperatures not to wait. It is fun to see the change of the seasons. I'll be bring out the Halloween items soon! A Red Ride

This is the other little car my Dad picked up for my niece(she's a little spoiled-but that's o.k!). She can operate this one a little easier since she has to use her legs to move it. She kept turning her head every time I wanted to take a picture-the little stinker!

I think she liked the buttons that made sounds the best!

I wish she wouldn't get any bigger!

Blue Child's Toy Volkswagon

Well-here's my nephew who's too big for his little sister's blue volkswagon driving it around. She didn't want to get in it-until he did! You know how that goes. But I had to get a picture of him too to show you how grown up and cute he is. And he's wearing blue too! My Mom painted eyelashes on the car and even added my nieces name to the licence plate. I'm sure my mom enjoyed that since she has an orange volkswagon convertible that she likes to drive around. Maybe I can get them both in their vehicles for a picture side by side! Here's my littlest niece who decided to take over. She just turned 3 on September 2nd. I can't wait to give her my birthday present-bet you can't guess what color it is?

Her big brother is helping her manuever off the backporch! And thru the grass....

And trying to explain to her how to steer-she hasn't figured that part out yet!

Three Barrel Curling Iron

I bought this really neat 3 barrel curling iron a while back and just love it. The picture doesn't show it to good-but it's a really fun look for long hair. I'm also trying to wear all the fun colors I can now because starting October 30th, our company is going to a black and white dress code -and I'm a color kinda girl!

Farewell to Kitty and Buddy-Reunited Again

Looking back thru pictures-from 2001-where Miss Kitty and Buddy were the first pets we had. Kitty loved to sit on Eric's lap-and Buddy didn't like it. I so wish we could go back and have them both for another 10 years.

Received our letter from the vet in the mail yesterday. I at least knew what to expect.

The paw print of Buddy-still gets to me.

May you both be reunited in Heaven-or since there's probably plenty of room up there-be far away from each other!

Stereo Cards

I love these cards because I use them to study the backgrounds to create authentic areas in our historic home. I picked them up last weekend at a garage sale for only $1.00 each. I love this one with the cupid-never seen one like it. It's titled "Cupid's Triumph".
