Another Pink Tent

I've been looking for something I can use to set up items to take pictures-a backdrop of sorts and I saw this tent which primary use is to go over the front of a twin bed. I originally found it when I was looking for something to use when my sister's twins can come to the barn sales and set up a pink lemonade stand. This would keep the hot sun off of them ...but I need to figure out how I'm going to hang it over there-there are no trees on the barn lot?????

  1. I guess I would ask where it is going? Against the barn, close to the barn, away from the barn? If you could implement some barn items(like pitchfork attached to the barn somehow and hang tent off a prongs? or a hay pick(hook to grab the bales) could work to hang from something to attach the tent to it too. Good luck with that, the tent is adorable and a great idea. Worse case scenario, temporarily rig something up that looks fab, you can do it!

  2. Since it's going on a shepherd's hook, you could always make a planter that is tall and secure it in there by drilling the holes for the hook's bottom and then have plantings on top. Or you could use a post with a platform that has a hole drilled in it and get a shepherd's hook that screws together in sections(thus only using the parts you need-screw it into the post) and weigh it down with decorative elements(cast iron door stop, painted bricks, rock, etc.) You have lots of possibilites and you are creative, it'll turn out great whatever you decide :)
