A few years ago these were really popular and I started picking them up when I saw them. The largest three came together, the handmade, grubby one I bought from a friends shop, and the little ones I picked up at a thrift shop-they're just a little reminder of the Jesus Christ(see my last post if you're wondering what I'm talking about!).

ReplyDeleteYou should see what I put together this morning! I need to get it all ready to head your way!
G'morn Rebecca ~ His crook was to direct us in His path ... Early candy canes were intentionally shaped like that of a shepherd’s crook to remind us that Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd who laid down his life for his sheep (John 10:11).
ReplyDeleteI loved reading the history of the candy cane ...
Have a lovely winters day ~
