I admit it -I'm a hoarder- I hoarder of many things-beautiful, detailed iron beds is one of them. I have several beds sitting next to my smokehouse waiting for something-but what is it? I've seen people make benches, fences, and more out of these. But I like them just as beds-and I have a few more in the garage-someday I'll get an idea for these wonderful beds!

Coming over from Faded Charm White Wednesday and so glad I did! Following you now! If there's one thing I'd be proud to admit hoarding, it's iron daybeds! Your's are fab!

Oh goodness they are glorious. olive♥
ReplyDeleteWell, how lucky are you! I don't think I could wait to use these. Room dividers, message boards, gates, I can think of so many uses, and I agree with my friend Carola, one would have to be used in the garden....

Lucky you! You have gorgeous white beds in this post. Good luck with figuring out what you'd like to create with them.
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca, It's not hoarding it's collecting:-) You never know when you will find the perfect home for them... better to store than not have!! I am looking for some to use for garden trellis, but I can't find any:-(

How lovely your white beds are! I, too, would enjoy just looking at them, but I'm sure you'll put them to good use...such great finds!

well, I have an idea...you can give some to me. They are great...by the way what a cute pink Christmas.
ReplyDeleteTrust me, if I came across an iron bed that was affordable I would hoard them as well. Aren't they romantic? Marcia
ReplyDeleteWouldn't they be fun as a daybed in the garden???? So many possibilities!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection to have. They are really a piece of art. I like the fence idea and they would also look great as a backdrop for a garden. Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteWow!! They are super pretty ~ you can always put them up as beds in the garden and plant flowers in them. I did that with a small dolls bed (about 2 feet) but how cool would it look to have a full sized bed filled with flowers??? Pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh lucky you! I would love to find a couple of iron beds at thrifty prices! That one looks just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOk I am finding a truck and coming to get one! They are fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteThose beds are gorgeous!! I think they would look great sitting beside my potting shed!! LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy White Wednesday.
Blessings~
Hi Ella Mae! I would buy them from you in a nano-second, girl! (sigh!) I've been looking for one for soooo long and they're nowhere to be found around here. You're so lucky to have these!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and am now happily following!

LOVE these!! :)
ReplyDeletewoot! love the beds.. yes I have seen them used in gardens, hung on porches with pictures and planters, hung on a wall with collectibles and photos, and of course as beds and benches.
ReplyDeleteSome people use one as the backboard, and cut another in half for sides as a Daybed..
So many ideas...just got to imagine, yes?
Thanks so much for visiting...and, yes my pooches are my favorite whites too, although they can cause a lot of tumbleweeds.... :-)
I see you have keep-it-itis too! Well, I sure would have a major case of it if I had that bed hanging around...have a great night and thanks for stopping by.

Hang on to them until an idea comes to you....I always get so mad at myself when I get in to one of my "down size" moods and get rid of my great junk I don't know what to do with...and then an idea comes to me. These are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection you have. They are really a piece of art. The fence idea is good and they would also look great as a backdrop for a garden.
