Would you please pray for my Grandma Ella Mae and our family? For the past couple of years she's been losing her eyesight to
Macular Degeneration and just this past Friday fell hitting her head and bruising her hip. She's was in the hospital for the weekend and has just been put into a nursing home so that they can give her therapy. This is a very difficult time for my mother, as it is for anyone in this circumstance, but we hope that she will regain her strength and be able to come home. There are other underlying issues that I cannot speak of so I'm asking for prayers for that also. Thank you as we put her in God's hands!
Rebecca, I sure will keep you sweet Grandmother in my prayers. I am sure she will do great but I know how unsettling a time like this can be. Thinking of you all,

Praying for your sweet Grandma. I understand full well that there are times when we are reminded that we have to put our lives and those we love in God's hands...and he will hold them close.

Rebecca, so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. Many times a week or 2 after a fall are common.....so hopefully she will be home soon. It is so stressfull to have to have them in a nursing home. Your family...of course you have my prayers.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I am sorry that your Grandmother is not doing well, prayers are lifted for your entire family.
ReplyDeleteYour Grandmother is a beautiful woman ...
I can relate to this, as I was diagnosed recently with macular degeneration, also.
Have a beautiful & blessed Thanksgiving.
TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
My family will pray for you and your family. It is very difficult to watch a love one go through these things, I and it is hard going to the nursing home and being an advocate, I will pray for the strength of the family and the recovery of health for your Grandmother.
ReplyDeleteSincerely
Sherry
Sending you lots of prayer and BIG hugs sweetie!! I am sure this is a tough time for you too as well as your mom, I already went through this with both my grandparents who are no longer with us. The best advice I have is spend as much time with her as you can, hopefully that love and affection will give her the strength she needs to get better!! ;O) Hugs sweetie!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI will most definitely include your dear grandmother in my prayers, Rebecca. I do hope all goes well...I'm wishing your family much love in getting through this difficult time. I know you'll take very good care of one another...:)

Praying for your beautiful Grandma. She must be special since she has such a talented and sweet granddaughter. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteOf course you have our prayers. Grandmas are special. I hope she's much better soon. xx
ReplyDeleteRebecca - Just wanted you let you know that I will be keeping your sweet grandma as well as your entire family in my prayers. I know that losing one's eyesight can be very scary and frustrating. My mother lost hers 5 years ago due to radiation therapy on a tumor on her pituitary gland. My dad was recently diagnosed with MD - but is doing well so far. Their future is very frightening to me, but with the grace and strength of God - we'll all get through it. Stay strong, Rebecca, and know that you have many prayer warriors out here lifting you up. :)
