I picked a box of these up after Valentine's Day for half-price-don't have any kids-but thought these would be fun to hand out to the kids camping this year-or maybe a few of the ladies at the nursing home would get a kick out of having one! Anything to bring a smile to their faces!~ I'm joining Rednesday at http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/2011/02/rednesday_22.html

I am all for taking things to nursing homes. It breaks my heart seeing some of them. When I take things, they seem so happy just to have a visit from even a stranger.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter loved those when she was little! I bet the kids who you pass them out to will love them too!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday!
Carol
Also a little sweetness to their day too. Love this.
ReplyDeletePAINT MY DAY RED!
ReplyDeleteA seeker of scarlet, they say,
Is likely to savor the day
If painted in red
Or ruby—instead
Of shades of monotonous grey!

My husband can't wait for the "day after" a candy holiday :-) He want's that 50% off chocolate. He brought some more home today! Funny that it's the guy with the sweet tooth in this family :-)
ReplyDeleteLoved your white flowers in your last post!
Blessings,
Marcia
